eCommerce or Information Marketing
The guru's always said "Sell Information! Great profit margins, passive income, get rich." "Write an eBook and earn a Million Dollars like I did." And like you, it sounded great. As a result I've wanted to get into information marketing. But finding my niche or topic has always been somewhat of a struggle. What should I teach? What was I an expert in? Do I want to be an "internet marketing guru"?
Are you in the same boat? Do you wonder what you could possibly create an information product about? Join the club.
I'm sure many of you are wondering if there is a way of getting your own online business without having to be extremely prolific, writing your own book, putting together a video training course or creating some other product that positions you as a guru or expert. Truth is, we're all not experts. We're all not teachers. Good news, there is such a business where you don't have to call yourself a guru or expert.
It's called eCommerce. Online retail. Also known as selling physical products. Or "selling real stuff" as I like to say.
I got started online selling "stuff" back in 2004. And the good news is that eCommerce has provided a nice fulltime living for me. My two sites My Air Purifier and My Hot Tub and Spa both do pretty well with minimal involvement on my part. I can focus on marketing and my assistant handles the day to day order processing and customer service. It's a pretty good gig once it's setup. And just like those information or "advice" marketers - it's still really nice to wake up and see that you made money while you were sleeping.
Now here's the challenge. There's a wealth of information about how to create a course, eBook or other information marketing product. Unfortunately, when it comes to selling physical products online, there aren't that many experts teaching it.
I've been full time in eCommerce for the past 4 years and the only game in town worthwhile so far is StomperNet. Unfortunately they cost $800 bucks a month ($9600 a year) and they only open for new members once - maybe twice a year. That hardly leaves room for a beginner looking to get started with limited funds.
Finally there is an option from an industry leader in the online retail industry. World Wide Brands is a company that specializes in helping people like you find reliable wholesale sources for products to sell on eBay and your own online store. Because of their dominance in the product sourcing field, they have worked with countless of successful online store owners. They are essentially THE experts in locating products to sell online. And guess what? They just started teaching.
Here's the deal. Like most typical "launches" these days, World Wide Brands has decided to give away a handful of great training videos to get you started. The videos are free and can be watched by clicking the banner below.
If you have even thought about selling on the internet, you should really watch the videos World Wide Brands is making available. Clicking the banner above will probably start playing on video 2, 3, 4, etc. Be sure to click the numbers at the top to watch any previous videos that you may have missed. There is also a nifty eCommerce PDF checklist to print out and walk through to get you started in the right direction.
And don't worry about what they may try to sell you at the end of the video process, just watch and learn. You'll be one step closer to your own online business selling "stuff".
Talk to you soon.
