Who wants a FreeIQ.com Search Box on YOUR site?
In previous episodes of "Ask The FreeIQ Guy", two of my readers asked me if there was a way to add a FreeIQ search box to their site. I put in a feature request to the FreeIQ.com technical team and suggested my readers do the same. In the interim time, I couldn't help myself and went ahead and figured out how to get it done myself.
Check out the FreeIQ Search box at the top right of this site. Try it out, it works great. Pretty cool huh?
And for anyone planning to use this, I would really recommend you have the Direct Publishing process setup. This is covered in my training library. The reason this is important is so that anytime someone uses your search box, you want affiliate credit, right? So by using the Direct Publishing feature, you'll get it.
By the way, if you want a copy of the code that you can use for YOUR site, sign up for my mailing list. If you are already a member, drop me a note through the Ask Dan part of this site. I'll send you a text file with the code you can use.
Enjoy and be sure to comment to let me know how you like it!

Hi Dan,
Have you been able to do any testing to make sure that when using the search box on one of your sites that you've validated using the "direct publishing" that it is still able to correctly track that the visitor is a referral from you?
Thanks,
Scott
